There are Canadian immigration programs that permit skilled workers to come to Canada, either on a temporary basis, or on a path to permanent residency. This is largely dependent upon the skill-set of the worker who seeks to come to Canada, combined with where he or she is prepared to live and work.
The Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot is an example of such an immigration program. All of this needs to be carefully investigated in order to determine the best path to follow form both an immigration and work perspective.
