The International Mobility Program permits an employer to hire temporary foreign workers for certain specified jobs without an LMIA. As a result, if the foreign worker falls within one of the exemptions, the process is simpler and streamlined.
Workers who are eligible for the Program include those entering Canada under a specified treaty, such as the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement, those entering on an open work permit and those entering as intra-company transferees.
