On November 9, 2022 the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program announced an Entrepreneur Success Initiative pilot program. The pilot program is designed to attract foreign entrepreneurs who wish to establish a new business or purchase an existing Canadian business outside of the Greater Toronto Area. Applicants under this Program must meet the requirements of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program: Entrepreneur Stream which include having at least 24 months of full-time experience as either a business owner or senior manager within the previous 5 years, have a minimum personal net worth of at least $400,000.00, intend to make a minimum personal investment in the business of at least $200,000.00 and must be involved in the day-to-day management of the Canadian business.
